‘Our City’ is coming to Hull city centre on Saturday, 14th March.
Our City is a brand-new, community-led spectacular that will be a huge celebration of local identity, made with and for the people of Hull.
Our Tides of Light Evening Procession
6:30pm – 7pm from Queen Victoria Square, followed by the evening show until 8pm
It will include two fun-filled processions: one in the daytime, one at night. Both will feature four stunning show globes and will travel through the city centre, creating a carnival atmosphere on the streets, before arriving in Queen Victoria Square.
Hundreds of Hull residents – including organisations such as RSPCA Hull & East Yorkshire, NAPA College, Sirius West Academy and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, alongside families, community groups and individuals – will take part in the processions, each adopting a theme based on the four Show Globes:
· Enchanted Flower Globe – butterflies, charm and wonder
· Living Snow Globe – a winter wonderland
· Mystic Mirror Globe – playful and reflective
· Sea Sphere – a mystical mermaid world
