We’re looking for a new Chair or Co-Chairs!

 

Back to Ours is looking for a new Chair, or Co-Chairs, to help guide the next chapter of our organisation.

Over the last few years, Back to Ours has grown into an independent charity and Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, working with communities across Hull to create brilliant arts and cultural experiences in the places people already know and love.

From neighbourhood performances and touring shows to Bransholme Chat and large-scale citywide projects like Our City, our work is rooted in people, place and partnership.

Now, we’re looking for someone to help us shape what comes next.

Our Chair, or Co-Chairs, will work closely with our Board of Trustees, Artistic Director & CEO Louise Yates BEM FRSA, staff team, Hub Members, volunteers, artists, partners and communities to support the strategic direction of Back to Ours.

We’re looking for people who believe in the power of arts and culture to connect people and strengthen communities. You might have experience in leadership, governance, arts and culture, community engagement, fundraising, partnerships, or another area that could support our work.

We are also open to a Co-Chair model, and welcome applications from people interested in shared leadership.

The role is voluntary, with reasonable expenses reimbursed.  Applications close on Monday 27 July 2026.
