Two Shows for May Half-Term!

We’re proud to announce TWO shows for May Half-Term from our friends at Talegate Theatre!

Our Talegate double bill includes a gentle, interactive musical for under-5s and a fun-packed family pantomime.

GOOSE – for under-5s and their families

Following a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Goose returns to Hull after bringing lots of quacking great fun to Bransholme Chat in 2024. This interactive musical, based on the books by Laura Wall, tells the story of Sophie and Goose, who meet in the park and quickly become the best of friends.

Featuring recorded narration from Bill Oddie, the 45-minute show invites young audiences to jump in muddy puddles, go on a wild goose chase and join in the fun.

Described as “a totally perfect puppet production for under-fives and their families” (Everything Theatre ★★★★), Goose offers an ideal first theatre experience.

RAPUNZEL – a family pantomime adventure

Also touring this half-term is Rapunzel, a brand new panto from TaleGate Theatre Productions. Packed with pop songs, magic and puppetry, the show brings the classic fairy tale to life, as Rapunzel escapes the tower from the evil Witch Gothel and has the most amazing day ever!

Perfect for families, this high-energy pantomime runs for approximately two hours (including an interval), promising plenty of laughs and audience interaction.
