We Are Orchard Park is a new exhibition created with Orchard Park residents, celebrating the people, places and everyday moments that have helped shape the Hull estate. From friendships and family life to homes, shops and community spaces, the exhibition brings together memories of what life on OPE has been like across the decades.
Come along to see the archive gathered through the project, pick up a free commemorative zine created by local artist Joe Sheehan, and see his model of the Laxthorpe high-rise flats.
There will also be an opportunity to share your own memories and stories. Our team will be at the exhibition throughout, talking to residents and recording additional stories to add to the project’s archive.
The exhibition is free to attend and no booking is required.
Following its run at the Orchard Centre, the display will later move to Hull History Centre.
